Credo
I believe that there is a supernatural being. This being is so powerful and almighty that
no one can fully understand how or why He does such amazing and sometimes shattering
things. The God I put my faith in shows me in many ways that He is the creator and Lord
of everything. He controls all of mankind, the creatures that walk or crawl the earth,
and the events that take place. He allows things to go right and to go wrong. He has an
ultimate plan for every person just as long as you let Him fulfill your life. 
As a child, I was raised in a catholic home yet never really lived a life for Christ. I
lived between walls that were not the best to live in. While growing up I always had a
passion and love for God, yet was never told anything about Him. I just thought He was
someone to go to only when I had problems. As I grew up I fell away from God, knowing
that He expected so much more from me than I had to give. Through reading and hearing
God's word in church I turned my life around. I began believing whole-heartedly that His
word is and always will be true and just. 
'When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. (John 16:13) In this
passage it clearly states that the Holy Spirit will enlighten your mind and heart to
truth. God shows you in mysterious ways that He is the ultimate being. What other God
would create such an amazing animal as the zebra. This creature is dual colored and yet
it is so distinctive in it's lines. God will show you all you need to know if you just
follow him and trust in him. 
I believe this way because God says in the Bible ' Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct
your paths.' (Proverbs 3:5-6) God will help you with all your problems, dilemmas and
dreams. The Lord knows the path that you should be on, whether you take that path or not
is up to you. In trusting Jesus you will be a changed and new being. You will start to
understand God's awesome plan and what he has in store for you. When man follows his own
needs he is going completely against what God wants. There is nothing without God. 
God's word is true. 'All your words are true; all your just laws will stand forever'
(Psalm 119:160) In the past the Dead Sea scrolls were found which proved that the word of
God is true. Some people still did not believe it was. In later years, an old man was in
a cave and found some scrolls. These scrolls are called the Masoretic text. They prove
that the Dead Sea scrolls are truth. They matched up exactly with what the Dead Sea
scrolls had to say. 
In this world, so many people are so prideful. Hey believe that they know more than my
creator does. They say, I know more than God There is no argument that can cure the
greatest skeptic. No arguments in the world can fully prove the existence of God. The
best evidence is in changed lives. My life was changed during the summer after my
sophomore year in high school. God showed me His love in his creation and in all the
things that He blessed me with. To this day, God answers my prayers and heals the sick.
He has brought my immediate family to love and long to worship Him. I can't say I've seen
Him and he has literally spoken to me, but I can say that I can sense his presence in my
daily life. I know when he is speaking to me when I've done right or wrong by the way I
feel deep down. Believing in God is more than just saying you believe but it is an act of
faith. Without faith, you have nothing. ' What is faith? It is the confident assurance
that what we hope for is going to happen' (Hebrews 11:1)
There are many people who believe otherwise, than what I do. For instance, The
Cosmological Argument (deductive) thought up by Thomas Aquinas believes there are five
points for the argument of the existence of God. First, his theory works backward, he
says that it goes from creation to the creator. His theory states that we find an order
of efficiency in the universe. Nothing can be caused by itself, and another must cause
each thing. If this is true, than nothing can go on in infinite progress. He found that
there must be a cause. God, he is the unmoved mover. 
Another man by the name of William Paley suggested that the universe displayed
intelligibility and design, not by chance, but it is the product of design by an
intelligent designer. There are four points that show design. First, Design as Order. All
the physical laws show orderliness, everything goes from start to finish. There are
hardly any mistakes, if any at all. Second, design as purpose, the universe is a
blueprint of purpose. It has it's own way of things. The way the mountains were formed,
the depths of the ocean bottom, and the hills and valleys of the continents. Third,
design as complexity, the physical world is so complex yet some still believe it just
bang then happened. How could such an awesome and creative place just become, just as how
could humans that are so complex just evolve? The last is design as beauty, the beauty of
humans, and of this world show that there is evidence of an awesome designer. Nothing so
beautiful as this earth could just become. There had to have been an infinite being who
created and designed it. 
There is no absolute way to prove God's existence but through faith alone. You can not
convince someone of the Lord's presence without them wanting to learn more or yearning
for it. God is one awesome God, and some people are afraid of Him. They are scared of
what might become of them or what they will have to sacrifice for Him. Sometimes, people
are just not ready to accept that he is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus said, I am
the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me. If you
really knew me, you would know my father as well... (John 14 6&7a) 
I believe there is a supernatural being. He is the creator of everything. My God is an
awesome God who rules over all the earth and the creatures in it. This Lord can change
your world like no other. This world is lost and yet can be found only if they tried.
'For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes
in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.' (John 3:16)
